How does environment affect galaxy halos?

In the "Quasars behind Clusters" (QbC) survey (Lopez et al. 2008) we pioneered the study of the effect of group and cluster-size environment on the gaseous content of galaxies. Now we want to refine this study using the fastest spectrograph in the world: 4MOST on the VLT.
